Michelle Sevigny, Founder of DOGSAFE Canine First Aid, was an invited guest speaker on the 2008 Canine College Cruise ... a specialty event where dog breeders, AKC and CKC judges and other dog enthusiasts cruised the caribbean while attending dog seminars at sea. Michelle presented the seminar, "Canine First Aid : What Your Dog Wants You to Know". Other noted speakers included Pat Hastings, Dr Carmen Battaglia, Dr Gerald Post, DVM, Dr Robert Van Hutchison, DVM and Dr Roger Abrantes, Ph.D, (pictured here with Michelle), a world reknowned expert on canine body language and author of Dog Language - An Encyclopedia of Canine Behaviour. Canine body language is a topic widely discussed in the DOGSAFE Canine First Aid courses as it is imperative to understand how a dog conveys his pain and fear in an emergency situation.
